What is Cold Milling?

Cold milling is a process used to remove a layer of pavement with specialised machinery equipped with rotating cutting drums. This method is called "cold" milling because it doesn’t involve heat; instead, it mechanically grinds away the old pavement. The resulting material is removed and recycled, allowing for the surface to be replaced or repaired.

Cold milling service is essential for projects that require the removal of damaged or worn-out pavement layers without disrupting the underlying structure. For this, we use 1 x Wirtgen W210 2.0M Profiler and 1 x Wirtgen W1000F 1.0M Profiler, skillfully handled by our experts. This approach is an efficient and eco-friendly way to restore road surfaces, ensuring that roads are prepared for new pavement layers, enhancing durability and safety.
